Early departure from Guayaquil to the Peninsula of Santa Elena. In a journey of approximately one and a half hours by the highway of the Pacific, admiring an incomparable agricultural landscape. * We will take the route to Santa Elena, where our first visit will be the Site Museum Lovers of Sumpa. Then we head to Ballenita to visit the Nautical Museum and chapel of the Farallon Dillon, where we will have lunch.

From here we leave to Salinas, where we will stay at the hotel and the afternoon will be to rest, and after the siesta we take the road to “Mar Bravo” for a panoramic view and then to La Libertad to visit a workshop of Jewelry artisans of spondylus, a precious shell that was used by our ancestors as a form of commercial exchange of the pre-Hispanic cultures of America. (Only if it is open). Free afternoon for Dinner. Accommodation.
DAY 2: Breakfast at the hotel.
We take the north road going through by typical fishing villages of the coast as San Pablo, San Pedro, Libertador and Valdivia until arriving at the commune of Barcelona. This small place mainly inhabited by elderly people who dedicate their life to the harvest and working of the toquilla straw, main material for the making of the famous straw hats. From here a detour will take us to Sitio Nuevo, where the tagua seed artisans design creative pieces of art. We continue to Montanita, where we will have a delicious lunch and a short break to start our return to Guayaquil.

Many social and community programs are developed in this part of the coast, in order to involve the inhabitants with the socio-tourist development of the zone.
Any of the visits can be replaced with one to the Valdivia Aquarium.
