Thanks to its beauty and biodiversity of the natural regions: Coast, Andes, Amazon and the Galapagos Islands, Ecuador has become a tourist destination.
However due to its particular topography it could be of difficult access for tourists with physical disabilities, for ageing people or people with hearing or vision impairments. Considering these aspects, Ecuador provides tourist services for travelers with disabilities so they can easily access and enjoy Ecuador.
According to the World Tourism Organization (WTO), inclusive tourism takes into account inclusion of persons with disabilities to recreation services which offer access for people with physical, visual, hearing and intellectual disabilities.
Malecon Simon Bolivar, Historical Park, Anthropological Museum of Contemporary Art, and some hotels and restaurants are the main attractions that provide inclusive tourism experience in Guayaquil.
