Latin America Green Awards 2019

Guayaquil hosts the most important environmental event in the region, in its Sixth Edition that will take place from August 21 to 25 in Puerto Santa Ana.

The projects in its different categories seek to develop a sustainable world, which involves public policies, sustainable use of resources, clean energy and new technologies, proper waste management of plastics, gases and other components.

The categories presented are: Water, Flora and Fauna, Sustainable Cities, Human Development, Energy, Wildlife, Sustainable Finance, Solid Waste Management, Oceans, Production and Responsible Consumption.

This event makes Guayaquil a pioneer in showing innovative projects that allow an environmentally sustainable future

Latin America Green Awards has the support of the Municipality of Guayaquil and internationally recognized organizations such as the United Nations Development Program, PWC, Sambito, DirectTv and strategic allies such as WWF, International Conservation, Regional Initiative for Inclusive Recycling, among others.

 

Comic Con 2019

From August 23 to 25, will be held at the Guayaquil Convention Center the IV Edition of Comic Con Ecuador, which is the most important convention of pop culture,

Comic Con Ecuador promotes tourism in Guayaquil as it summons visitors from other cities and neighboring countries that like the universe of superheroes, fiction and fans of comics, cinema, literature and art in general.

This event will feature 30 international guests, as actors of the movie Guardians of the Galaxy and series like Gotham, and 34 national guests as illustrators, animation groups, cosplayers with their best fictional character costumes, in addition to others events

Among the main areas to visit are: Ninja Turtles, Alien, Knight Rider, Rick and Morty, Batman, Avengers, Scooby Doo, Thundercats, Knights of the Zodiac.

Fulfilling a social responsibility, UNICEF will be at the Comic Con with its campaign “Super Parents, Super Teacher and Super Heroes to support Ecuador’s children.
