DAY 1                       GUAYAQUIL – RIOBAMBA

08h00             Departure from Guayaquil to Riobamba, passing by Bucay – Pallatanga.

Attractions:  La Balbanera Church, Colta Lagoon. Visit to Guano. If enough time, visit Ozogoche Lagoon.

12h00              Arrival to hotel in Riobamba.

Suggestion: visit Riobamba, Conceptas Museum, Cathedral, Sucre Park, lunch at the market (hornado)

 

DAY 2                       RIOBAMBA – GUARANDA

08h00             Breakfast. Departure to Guaranda.

Attractions in Guaranda: Salt mines, dairies, chocolate shops, natural medicinal products, Guayco Sanctuary.  Return to hotel in Riobamba.

 

DAY 3                       RIOBAMBA – ALAUSI – CUENCA

07h30                Breakfast. Departure to Alausi at about 1h30.  Visit Alausi, San Pedro statue in the viewpoint.

11h00                 Train to Devil´s Nose.  Return to Alausi, departure to Cuenca (approximately 2h30), passing by Ingapirca. Arrival to hotel in Cuenca.

 

DAY 4 – 5                 CUENCA          

07h30                  Suggestion: Gualaceo, Chordeleg, Turi viewpoint, Conceptas Museum, Cathedral.

 

DAY 6                       CUENCA – GUAYAQUIL

08h00                 Return to Guayaquil
