Traveltips S.A. organized a famtrip for its staff and tourism guides of Guayaquil to the community of Sacachun.

Sacachun is located on the way to the Coast; there you can taste “bolón and maduros” made of plantains, pork and other typical dishes from the local gastronomy.

In the community of Sacachun there is an exhibit with archaeological remains of the Valdivia Culture.

Besides, its main attraction is the totem of San Biritute, famous for its virility.

The group was hosted by Mr. Arcadio Balón, famous for his handmade ring-shaped pastry baked in a wood oven.
