Traveltips S.A. and the Board of the Guayas Province of the Ecuadorian Red Cross organized the Workshop of  Basic First Aid on September 12 and 13, 2016 at the Oro Verde Hotel of Guayaquil.

At this workshop attended the staff of Traveltips S.A. and the tourism guides of Guayaquil who were also invited to participate.

This 8-hour workshop was given by Ms. Melva Zamora, instructor of the Ecuadorian Red Cross Institute.

Some of the topics addressed were: biosecurity, assessment and emergency management, local emergency calls, management of bleeding burns and cardiorespiratory emergencies, among others.
