Once again, Ecuador stands out in the World Travel Awards (WTA), with a total of 31 nominations, in 22 categories in South America, for the third edition of the most important tourism awards worldwide.
Every year, WTAs recognize the excellence of destinations and tourism businesses; the country of the four worlds is ratified as a world class destination, with quality as a hallmark. In 2015, Ecuador won 15 awards in the WTA South America and with your support this year the awards could be more.

- South America’s Leading Meeting & Conference Destination 2016 – Guayaquil and Quito
- South America’s Leading Tourist Board 2016 – Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador

To vote for any of them and many others categories, follow these simple steps:
- Go to http://www.worldtravelawards.com/vote
- Register. To do this, you must provide basic information (name, surname and country); in addition to an email address and password.
- Click on the Submit button.
- You will receive a verification email, which includes a link whose information you must complete to activate your new account. Now you are registered.
- If you already have an account, enter directly.
- Next, select South America in the regions menu.
- Immediately, a list of all the participating categories will be displayed.
- Click on the corresponding category.
- Choose the box where a destination or Ecuadorian company appears.
- Ready, your vote has been registered.
The results will be known at the 2016 Latin America Gala Ceremony to be held on July 1 in Lima, Peru.
