  • SATURDAY            GUAYAQUIL – GALAPAGOS (BALTRA ISLAND)

AM      Arrive to Baltra airport where a guide will escort you on the bus to the harbor.  A motorized dinghy will transfer you to Celebrity Xperience, where captain and crew will welcome you aboard.

PM      North Seymour Island: Arid vegetation and fauna.

Attractions: Sea lions, blue footed boobies, marine iguanas, frigate birds.

Difficulty: Moderate

  • SUNDAY                 SOUTH PLAZA ISLAND

AM      South Plaza Island is home to a large opuntia cactus forest.

Attractions: land iguanas, sea lions, Nazca boobies, swallow-tailed gulls.

Difficulty: Moderate

PM       Santa Fe Island during the hike you will see some of Santa Fe´s endemic species.

Attractions: Galapagos hawk, Galapagos snake, finches, Galapagos mockingbird, sea                                     lions.

Difficulty: Moderate

 

  • MONDAY               SAN CRISTOBAL ISLAND – PITT POINT

AM       It is located on the eastern tip of San Cristobal Island. After hiking up you will enjoy a spectacular landscape.

Suggestions: Snorkeling, kayaking or dinghy ride.

Difficulty: Moderate to difficult

PM        San Cristobal Island – Cerro Brujo: It offers magnificent scenery.

Attractions: Sea lions.

Suggestions: Swimming and dinghy ride.

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

 

  • TUESDAY              FLOREANA ISLAND – POST OFFICE BAY & BARONESS´ VIEWING                                    POINT

AM         Post Office Bay has a “post office” as the 18th century pirated used as an unofficial mailbox.

Attractions: You may leave postcards in the barrel to be delivered.

From the Baroness Viewing Point you will enjoy the unique scenery of Floreana                                             Island.

Difficulty: Easy

PM          Floreana Island – Champion Islet & Cormorant Point

Attractions: flamingos, stilts and pintail ducks.

Suggestions: bird-watching, snorkeling.

Difficulty:  Easy

 

  • WEDNESDAY      ISABELA ISLAND – ELIZABETH BAY

AM           Elizabeth Bay. It is one of the furthest points of Galapagos.

Attractions: Sheltered cove, mangrove ecosystem, sea turtles, rays, herons.

Difficulty: Easy

PM           Isabela Island – Moreno Point.

Attractions: Seabirds, lava rock, tide pool, mangroves.

Suggestions: Dinghy ride, hike, snorkeling.

Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult

 

  • THURSDAY          SANTA CRUZ ISLAND – PUERTO AYORA & HIGHLANDS

AM             You will visit the Charles Darwin Research Station where you will learn about the insights to preserve the Galapagos Islands.

Attractions: Giant turtles

PM              Free time for shopping or mingling with the locals.

Difficulty: Easy to Moderate

 

  • FRIDAY                 ESPAÑOLA ISLAND – GARDNER BAY

AM           In Gardner Bay you will enjoy a pristine white sandy beach.

Attractions: Sea turtle, sea lions.

Suggestions: Swimming, snorkeling, kayaking.

Difficulty: Easy

PM           Española Island – Punta Suarez is home to a large population of Nazca and blue-footed Bobbies.

Attractions: albatross

Difficulty: Moderate to Difficult

 

  • SATURDAY         MOSQUERA ISLET

AM             It is a tiny islet full of shorebirds.

Attractions: Sea lions. Occasionally you will see dolphins and orcas.

Difficult: Easy

PM              Depart for Mainland Ecuador
