From September 25 to 29, the Fifth Edition of the International Book Fair 2019 will be held at the Simon Bolivar Convention Center with its goal: encouraging reading and attracting new readers.

On this occasion Germany, the guest country, will have a stand where various activities will be carried out with its 4 authors who are especially arriving for this event.

In this stand, sponsored by the German Embassy, ​​a replica of the raft used by the German scientist and naturalist Alexander von Humboldt will be exhibited; this project is promoted by the Garza Roja Foundation and the Deutsche Schule of Guayaquil.

In addition, 54 personalities have been invited, including international guests from Spain, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and 36 national authors, who will launch their books, interact with the public, and participate in round tables among other activities.

The scheduled activities include plays, movies, comics, musical shows, and competitions in its various locations dedicated to children, youth and adults, as well as activities to enjoy reading based on new technologies.
