Salinas is located in western part of Santa Elena. It has many apartment buildings and hotels. It is the ideal place for nautical sports, diving, surfing, and sport fishing.
Scheduled visits to La Chocolatera, artisans of the Peninsula, Sumpa Museum.
After an early departure from Guayaquil, on a trip that takes approximately 1H30 by the highway to the coast, admiring a unique agricultural landscape, we arrive to the Peninsula of Santa Elena
Salinas is the most popular Ecuadorian beach, with a bay of calm waters, to enjoy a relaxing sea bath, from where you can see the most prominent point of the Pacific Ocean coast.
From June to September, we offer whale watching tours, as the Ecuadorian coast is visited by humpback whales, the sea giants, which make us an impressive tourist destination.
After a typical beach lunch at a local restaurant, we take the Mar Bravo – La Libertad road to visit a workshop of local craftsmen who design spondylus jewels, a beautiful shell that was used by our ancestors as a means of trading with the pre-Hispanic cultures of America.
We continue to the resort of Punta Carnero to start our return to Guayaquil.
