Teleférico + City Tour

TELÉRICO + CITY TOUR: After breakfast, we will move to the cable car of Quito, built on an area of 160 hectares in the foothills of Volcán Pichincha to the top of Cruz Loma. The cable car arrives 4.050 metres above sea level and offers a spectacularview of the city and its surroundings, including the possibility to admire more than14 Andean peaks over so-called “Avenue of the volcanoes”. We will then go to thehistorical center of Quito, declared world heritage by the UNESCO in 1978. We will start with a panoramic view from the beautiful Alameda Park and the imposing Basilica, followed by a walk by the street of the seven crosses. The trip will continue with a tour, walk, beginning at independence square, where we will visit the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral, the Iglesia de La Compañía, beautifully plated in gold leaf,to the wide Plaza San Francisco and its ancient religious complex, the largest in South America. Back to the hotel.
