  • SATURDAY            GUAYAQUIL – GALAPAGOS (BALTRA ISLAND)

AM       Arrive to Baltra Island after a 2 hours flight from mainland. Upon arrival you will have lunch on board M/Y Grace.

PM       Daphne Major Islet: Home to a variety of birds.

Attractions: Galapagos martins, blue footed boobies, Nazca boobies.

 

  • SUNDAY                  SANTA FE ISLAND

AM        Santa Fe Island is home of a beautiful bay and best snorkeling site.

Attractions: Turtles, swim with sea lions, Galapagos white-tipped sharks.

Type of landing: Wet landing

PM        South Plaza Island is one of the smallest islands.

Attractions: Yellow land iguanas, orange sally light foot crabs, frigate birds.

 

  • MONDAY                GENOVESA ISLAND (TOWER ISLAND)

AM        Tower Island: Prince Phillip´s Steps. The southern part of the island is ringed by the throat of a submerged volcano.

Attractions: Red footed boobies, short eared owls.

Suggestions: Snorkeling

PM        Tower Island: Darwin Bay Beach has a tidal grotto; a path leads up to cliffs.

Attractions: Seabirds, gulls, tropic birds, frigates.

 

  • TUESDAY               FERNANDINA ISLAND – ISABELA ISLAND

AM      Fernandina Island: Punta Espinoza. Fernandina Island is home of La Cumbre volcano.

Attractions: Marine iguanas, sea lions, flightless cormorants, Galapagos hawks.

PM       Isabela Island: Urbina Bay.  It is located west of Isabela´s volcano Alcedo.

Attractions: Marine reef, giant land iguanas, giant tortoises.

Suggestions: 3 miles hiking, snorkeling,

Type of landing: Wet landing

  • WEDNESDAY        ISABELA ISLAND

AM       Isabela Island: Tagus Cove. It is a wooden stairway to the trail entrance, around Darwin Lake through dry vegetation.

Attractions: Spectacular views of the bay and volcanoes, marine iguanas, penguins, sea horses.

Suggestions: Snorkeling.

PM       Isabela Island: Vicente Roca Point or Punta Albemarle

Attractions: Colorful fish, sea lions, penguins, sea turtles.

Suggestions: Snorkeling.

 

  • THURSDAY            SANTIAGO ISLAND

AM      Santiago Island: Espumilla Beach or Buccaneer´s Cove

Attractions: Mangrove, lagoon, pink flamingos, Galapagos finches

Suggestions: Hilltop of Palo Santo forest.

PM       Santiago Island: James Bay.

Attractions: Black beach with rock formations, crystal-clear grottos, a natural bridge of broken lava tubes, tropical fish.

Suggestions: Snorkeling

 

  • FRIDAY                   SANTA CRUZ ISLAND

AM       Santa Cruz Island: Charles Darwin Research Station. This was home of late Lonesome George.

Attractions: The Giant Tortoise and Land Iguana Breeding and Rearing Program.

PM       Santa Cruz Island: Highlands, Lava Tunnels

Attractions: Dry coastal vegetation, tortoise reserve.

 

  • SATURDAY            SAN CRISTOBAL ISLAND

AM       San Cristobal Island: Interpretation Center

Attractions: Frigate Bird Hill

PM       Depart for Mainland Ecuador
